Written up 16/9/2021: Clearing my phone from some old photos and these were a few from January 2018.
We visited the Arcelor Mittal orbit shortly before my hip replacement date. Miss T wasn't old enough to do the slide then so we'd love to go back again. Here are some more photos from our visit on this blog post.
Then there was the day of my big operation. My hip replacement! Which I knew there was no turning back from and as much as it needed to be done it was terrifying. I have written plenty about it starting with this blogpost and a round up of posts can be found here on my post about how to prepare for hip replacement surgery.
Then followed six weeks of not being able to do anything. My lovely auntie came to stay a while with us and for mother's day we decided upon an outing to London for one of our favourite London activities - London RIB voyages! We've done it several times before and it is just as awesome and thrilling every time - we absolutely love it!
Being on crutches though made it a bit more of a worry and I had to sign a disclaimer this time.
But sure enough we enjoyed every second of it!
Read about our previous London RIB experiences here, here and here.
