New!
I have just launched an online shop, full of "comping" T-shirts, sweatshirts and accessories for all those who love competitions. All products are made from organic cotton and printed in the UK in a renewable energy powered factory - ethical, sustainable fashion. You can find the shop here.
I have a hobby that I love - the hobby of entering competitions, known as "comping".
Over the years I have learnt how to be good at comping, maximising my chances of winning. So, in 2018, I published my first book - Overcoming the Odds - to share my stories and help inspire others in this fantastic hobby.
In 2019, I published a diary-style blank journal written specifically with this hobby in mind. Full of tips, ideas and prompts to help you get organised, The Happy Comper Journal has been flying off the virtual bookshelves at Amazon since its publication. I've been receiving messages daily about how useful this journal is proving to be!
You can read more about these books below, or follow the links now to order today.
All proceeds from the sale of these books go to Juvenile Arthritis Research (UK Charity No. 1091620) in the search for a cure for juvenile idiopathic arthritis.
Overcoming the Odds : How I won £50,000 of prizes in three years
"I hope that Overcoming the Odds will intrigue and delight you as much as it did me."
Di Coke, Comping Expert
In Overcoming the Odds, Rebecca shares her experiences of ‘comping’ – that is, the hobby of entering competitions. She explains some of the skills and strategies she has learnt over the years that have led to her winning thousands of pounds worth of prizes. She shows how, with enough passion and perseverance, anyone can become a ‘comper’ enjoying this incredible life-changing hobby.
You can buy Overcoming the Odds on Amazon here. It is available as paperback and on Kindle.
Use this journal to help plan your competition entries, ensuring you get the most out of your hobby without it taking over your life. In a handy diary format with prompts and ideas, as well as space for doodles and notes, you will really be able to make this journal personal to you. An organised comping life can help give leverage and maximise the return on your efforts. This journal is the perfect way to track your entries and comping success through the year. Undated so can be used in any year, and started at any time in the year.
You can buy The Happy Comper Journal on Amazon here.
The above links are Amazon Affiliate links which means that I get a small fee from the sale of each book at no extra cost to you. I donate these fees to Juvenile Arthritis Research also.
Just finished your book as recommended by Di Coke. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it but won’t be lending it to any of my comping mates as I’m going to encourage them to buy their own copies as it’s for such a good cause. Many congratulations on the publication from one procrastinator to another!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your kind words Andrea - it's made my day! x
