Although Miss T does join in the odd bit of messy play, like when she decided to pour the shredded paper over her head rather than keep it in the tray...
We've discovered that, by far, most of her truly messy moments relate to food, either when she's baking...
or simply eating...Even the mornings start messy...This was breakfast...
Cakes feature heavily on the menu when it comes to being messy and cute...Here's the before and after pics...
as does ice cream...
Even a spot of lunch, can get real messy - This was Spaghetti hoops for lunch...
but chocolate is definitely another favourite...
So perhaps we should stick to organised messy play moments where Miss T can do a bit of 'controlled' play with rice and pulses...
Until it all goes pear shaped and Miss T ends up on the table and the rice ends up on the floor...
So we decided to stay away from messy play and messy food and take some nice arty photos outdoors with the last of the sunflowers. I was so pleased to learn how to use the setting on the camera which singles out one colour to really highlight the yellow of the sunflowers. It also highlighted the yellow pollen that made it onto Miss T's face!
I guess that some kids are just messy and cute all the time!
